March 18, 2008: West Jersey Chapter has received a 2nd Place Award from the League of Historical Societies of New Jersey for our new book The Reading Seashore Lines that came out last Fall. Congratulations to authors Will Coxey and Jim Kranefeld, and all of the folks who contributed photos, proof reading, and other services to make this book available.
November 27, 2007: Our Informal Railfan Event for November was viewing the post-Thanksgiving rush that Sunday on the Northeast Corridor from the Wheatsheaf Lane footbridge at Frankford Junction. A Fox 29 Philadelphia film crew happened to be in the area covering another story, saw us, and filmed our group for a story for the 10:00 o'clock news. You can view the story by clicking here.

October 11, 2007: West Jersey Chapter’s latest book, The Reading Seashore Lines: A Pictorial Documentary of the Atlantic City Railroad, by William J. Coxey and James E. Kranefeld, is expected to be available by late October. This book primarily covers the physical railroad and adjacent structures from the beginning to the present, and is the perfect complement to our earlier book, which covered the history of the Atlantic City Railroad.
