West Jersey Chapter and the Friends of Philadelphia Trolleys sponsored a joint charter over SEPTA’s former Red Arrow trolley lines on Sunday, October 25, 2026. For our fan trip we had use of Kawasaki car 106, which is painted in its original livery of a wide red and blue band beneath the windows. Numerous photos stops at interesting photo locations were made on both the D2 (formerly 102) Sharon Hill Line and the D1 (formerly 101) Media Line. Meets along both lines made for interesting photography, as well as opportunities to get photos of SEPTA’s non-revenue work equipment. Photos by John Burlage.
